Today I want to tell you about a great little online store I have just discovered. It is called ‘TheSpanishTin’ and they sell these awesome spice mix tins, to help you easily add some premium Spanish flavours to your cooking.
TheSpanishTin only opened their store on the 31st of May 2013, they are based in California and run by Nydia Sanchez (originally from Spain). They sell various individual spice mixes and also some really nice spice collections, which would be great for yourself, if you are looking for a bit of a treat, but they would also make excellent gifts too.
If you want to add some delicious Spanish flavours to your food AND support a new US start-up business, head over to the TheSpanishTin store and check out the awesome spice mixes.
Nydia has also provided a simple chicken kebab recipe with lemon, garlic, and her very own Far East Spain Blend seasoning. See below for the recipe.
Grilled kebabs with lemon, garlic, and Far East Spain Blend seasoning.
1-2 pounds of chicken breast or pre-cut chicken (cubed)
1 large lemon
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp of salt1 tbsp of Far East Spain Blend seasoning (from TheSpanishTin )
Use pre-made unseasoned kebabs or skewer your own.
In a plastic bag add cubes of chicken, juice from lemon, 2 diced garlic cloves, Far East Spain Blend, and salt. Mix together as best you can and add chicken. Rub mix into chicken through bag. Let marinade in refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Remove chicken, skewer, and grill.
